via vintage: Passion Project

Not reinventing the wheel in anyway, just needed a reason to keep doing the thing that I love. When I began thrifting and restoring vintage clothing, jewlery, and household decor in 2023 I quickly had a collection that was far too big for my home, so I decided it was time to sell some of my finds. It is small and maybe always will be, but why just sell when I could create a whole brand out of it.

Via Vintage was inspired by my time living abroad where I fell in love with the history, stories, love and attention to detail that was in all aspects of the Italian culture. There was a vintage market down the street from my apartment that I frequented. The love for well-made, pre-loved things was brought home with me along with many, many vintage finds.

Via has done pop-up shops at various locations including coffee shops, markets, salons and other clothing stores.

The sourcing and restoring were the things I loved to begin with when I started Via. As I started selling though, I was learning about research pricing, which was a whole new aspect I hadn’t gotten the chance to explore yet. Doing all the photography, graphics, outreach and communication myself, Via has really given me a chance to learn and try new things. I would love to apply further the creative aspects I get to do with my small project on a larger scale.
